Our mission is to design, manufacture and commercialize advanced lasers and light sources to the industry.

Since 1997 KOHERAS has been supplying high performance fiber laser solutions to companies worldwide, distinguished research organizations and universities. In close cooperation with customers worldwide the mission of our research team is to bring the most innovative and cost effective solution to the market.

We are fully owned by the industrial conglomerate NKT Holding A/S and operate as a part of the NKT Photonics Group. We acquired LG-Laser Technologies GmbH in the year of 2004 and thereby gained more direct access to the important German market. The acquisition enables KOHERAS to offer a wide range of other laser types such as Argon-Ion Lasers, Solid State Lasers, Laser Diode Modules, Helium-Neon Laser and Laser Accessories to the industry.  In June 2006 we rename LG Laser Technologies to KOHERAS GmbH.

Today KOHERAS is a company where you can find a broad range of laser solutions and technology for most of your applications. We have the unique know-how in fiber laser technology and are geared for high-volume production to meet the demand from your company.
